The Den

Recollections of how this particular web abomination came to be. Not very interesting and very frustrating. Frustrating for ME, that is.

How

Kronugin Den works off of an obsidian+hugo+git pages pipeline. Pages are written in Obsidian, transformed into .md notes, which are then rendered by Hugo (a static site builder or something) and then this whole mess is uploaded to the Github. Finally, the build is processed by Cloudflare, which outputs the site you see right now.

The interesting part is - I don’t know diddly about web development.
Only briefly have I dabbled in html+css code way, waaaay back in the past (and nothing ever came out of it). If I had to write/code everything here from scratch - I would’ve never picked up this project, BUT… Hugo, together with a good theme, streamlines the process so much - even a moron could cobble himself a lil web nook like this dump.
